Democrats Must Vote Only at Courthouse
The only polling place which will be open for in-person voting in advance or day of election for the Democratic primary run-off for the special election to fill a Public Service Commission seat is the Jasper County Courthouse.
Early voting to determine who will be the democratic nominee for the position is between top vote getter Keisha Sean Waites, and Peter Hubbard who received 33.27 percent of the vote to Ms. Waites 46.06 percent.
Early voting will take place next week, July 7-11 only. Then the Courthouse will be open for voting from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15.
Only those who voted on the Democratic ticket before or those who did not vote may vote in the runoff. Those who vote Republican are not elegible to vote in this election.
