Cougars Receive Postseason Recognition

As the 2024-25 school year came to an end, several spring sport athletes for Piedmont Academy were recognized for their accomplishments.

On the baseball field, Jack Adams, Alex Statham and Zach Simmons were named GIAA District 6 All Region and Class AAA All State.

The Diamond Cougars advanced to the state quarterfinals this spring.

In girls soccer, Daylin Meadows and Sam Gray were both named All-Region for District 6. For the boys soccer team, Owen Piedra and Byrson Dudley were recognized as All-Region players.

Kolby Pounds and Sawyer Freeman were recognized for their golf season as All-Region performers. The Piedmont golf team qualified for the state tournament this spring.
