Deputies Locate Drugs In Town

Octavius Pennamon is Charged with Drugs, Firearms

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’ Office had an interesting week last week, responding to some unusual calls, as well as the more typical calls.

Deputies were instrumental in finding and rescuing a man lost in the woods after an apparent automobile accident. On another day, they had to respond when firefighters tried to extinguish a brush fire adjacent to a man’s home, and he didn’t want them there.

They also located drugs on an individual at a traffic stop that lead to them getting a search warrant for his residence.
