Grand Jury Returns 26 Indictments

The February 2025 term of the Jasper Superior Court Grand Jury reviewed 27 bills of indictment and true-billed 26 of those under the jurisdiction of Judge Stephen Bradley and at the direction of Assistant District Attorney Brent Cochran.

Some 23 local citizens served as jurors and reviewed those indictments with the following results:

Kelly Garrett Ivey, indicted on 11 counts including eight counts of criminal attempt to commit a felony, two counts of trafficking of persons for sexual servitude, and cruelty to children in the first degree.

Nicholas Talbot, indicted on nine counts including three counts of attempting to elude an officer, two counts of driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane, open container, failure to stop at stop sign, and failure to wear seat safety belt.

Ashlee Fox, indicted on nine counts including possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of drug related objects, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of firearm by convicted felon.

Jedric Williams, indicted on nine counts including two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent, obstruction of an officer, possession of drug related objects, defective windshield, open container, and possession of firearm by convicted felon. 

Philip Heard, Jr, indicted on seven counts including possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, and possession of drug related objects.

Melissa Lee Mathura, indicted on seven counts including attempting to elude a police officer, cruelty to children in first degree, reckless driving, failure to stop at stop sign, driving without headlights, and two counts of aggressive driving.

Richard Mireles, indicted on six counts including two counts of obstruction of an officer, possession of marijuana, speeding, expired tag, and defective windshield. 

Johnny Cook, indicted on six counts including possession of marijuana (more than ounce and less than an ounce), possession of marijuana with intent, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects, and possession of schedule I controlled substance.

Kayla Rawls, indicted on five counts including  possession of marijuana with intent, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects, and possession of schedule I controlled substance.

Ramiret Davis, indicted on five counts including violation of Georgia Controlled Substance Act, two counts of sale of marijuana, trafficking meth, possession of cocaine with intent.
Dewayne Carter, indicted for possession of meth with intent, possession of marijuana with intent, tampering with evidence, and attempting to elude an officer.

Quaterius Burke, indicted for possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent, possession of meth with intent, possession of marijuana with intent, and possession of firearm during commission of a felony.

Eddie Camp, indicted on three counts including aggravated assault, reckless conduct, and discharge of a gun near highway.

Micheal Campbell, indicted on three counts of terroristic threats.

Katherine Proctor, indicted for possession of meth with intent, giving false information to an officer, and possession of drug related objects.

Jo Lea Radar, indicted for possession of meth with intent, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with intent, and possession of marijuana with intent.

Mark Digby, indicted for two counts of sale of meth, and possession of meth with intent.

Dayton Beam, indicted for possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent, and improper display of license plates.

Andrew Davis, indicted for possession of meth with intent, possession of marijuana, and obstruction of an officer.

Breanna Smith, indicted for possession of marijuana, and possession of marijuana with intent.

Ron Guillaume, indicted for attempting to elude an officer and speeding.

Jerome Jones, indicted for two counts of aggravated assault.

Daniel Fain, indicted for burglary in the second degree and possession of firearm during commission of a felony. 

Jenny Buchanan, indicted for possession of meth with intent.

Angela Reed, indicted for possession of meth with intent.

Andy Plunkett, indicted for burglary in the first degree.

Donnie Joyce, Sr., indicted for violation of sexual offender restriction.

Devin White, indicted for criminal damage to property in the second degree.

Lanta Adkins, indicted for aggravated assault.

James Wilkins, indicted for aggravated assault.
