Six Sentenced to Jail In Superior Court
Judge Alison Burleson presided over the February 4 Jasper Superior Court criminal session. The following cases were resolved at that time:
Gregory S. Walton, sentenced to 15 years with the first six months in Jasper County jail for homicide by vehicle in the first degree. Another count of homicide by vehicle was nolle pressed as well as two counts of driving under the influence. Fined $2,000.
Thomas Raymond Martin, IV, sentenced to 10 years with the first 531 days in jail for two counts of theft by taking. Fined $1,000 and credited with time served since August 2023.
Kelly Michelle Young, sentenced to 10 years with the first year in jail for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Fined $ 2,000 and credited with time served from June 2023 until June 2024.
Ja’leesia Byrd, sentenced to five years with the first 90-120 days in state probation detention center for obstruction of an officer, possession of a firearm during a felony, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects, fleeing a police officer, failure to maintain lane, failure to stop at stop sign, and distracted driving. Fined $ 3,500.
Braden Bautista-Lucas, sentenced to five years with the first 90 days in jail for habitual violator, hit and run, and driving while license suspended. Fined $ 3,000.
Timothy Vest, sentenced to five years with the first day in jail for possession of a firearm by convicted felon due, and driving without a license. Fined $ 2,500.
Amanda Boyette Williamson, sentenced to five years of probation for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule I and IV controlled substances. Fined $ 1,000.
Samantha Stoe, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine and possession of cocaine. Fined $ 2,000.
Caleb Vinson, sentenced to three years of probation for violation of Georgia controlled substances act and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. Fined $2,000.
Brittany Deeann Ward, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of
methamphetamine. Fined $ 2,000.
Daishawan Cruchfield , sentenced to three years of probation for possession of a schedule II substance, fined $ 1,500.
Arquayvious Whitlock, sentenced to three years of probation for three counts of theft by taking. Fined $ 500.
Frederick Whitening, sentenced to two years with the first 10 days in jail. Fined $1,000.
Harold Cleveland, sentenced to two years of probation for two counts of theft by shoplifting. Fined $700.
Armando Grier, sentenced to two years of probation with the first 15 days in jail. Fined $1,100.
Johnnie Walker, sentenced to one year with the first day in jail for DUI. Fined $500.
Justin Moore, sentenced to one year of probation for criminal trespass. Fined $500.
Ruby Matthew’s, sentenced to one year of probation for disorderly conduct. Fined $400.
James Diaz, sentenced to one year of probation for possession of drug related object. Fined $600.
Cynthia Bell, sentenced to one year of probation for failure to report a crime.
Leigh Bostic, sentenced to one year of probation for obstruction of an officer. Fined $500.
Donnie Ladner, sentenced to one year of probation with first 16 days in jail for family violence. Fined $500.
Javonte Thurman, sentenced to one year old probation with first six days in jail for obstruction of an officer. Fined $500.
Irving Cooper, sentenced to one year of probation for possession of drug related object. Fined $500.
Darwin Jackson, sentenced to one year of probation for reckless driving. Fined $500.
Robert Halliday, sentenced to one year of probation for possession of marijuana and speeding. Fined $500.
Noah Curry, sentenced to one year of probation for possession of drug related object. Fined $400.
Camyrn Gentry, sentenced to one year of probation for possession of marijuana. Fined $500.
Krystal English, sentenced to 40 days in jail for criminal trespass. Credited with time served.
Andre Tobler, probation revoked to jail for positive drug tests, failure to pay court fees and failure to report to probation.
Judge Burleson granted Tristan Demming a $50,000 bond for several drug related charges and possession of a firearm during a felony. He was also banished from Jasper County except to attend court and meet with his attorney.
The District Attorney office granted pretrial diversion agreements to Nicholas Olivieri, Jr., Jonathan Wilson, Hunter Taylor, Corben Bostic, Clinton Currie, and Monica Bostic.
