Piedmont JV Boys Have Close Games

Piedmont Academy’s junior varsity boys basketball team were unable to gain victories in recent action but gained valuable on-the-court experience in the two outings.

The JV Cougars fell to John Milledge Academy on the road 46-35 on Jan. 17. Bryson Dudley scored 18 points while Kooper Pounds added eight.

Kolby Pounds finished with four points with Daniel Humber scoring three and Mathew Carter adding two.

Piedmont hosted Tattnall Square on Jan. 24 falling 39-34. Kooper Pounds was the leading scorer with 15 points while Dudley finished with 13.

Kolby Pounds added four points and Isaac Lockett scored two.
