MAT COUGARS EARN TROPHY

Piedmont Academy’s wrestling team continues to earn trophies this season. The Mat Cougars have now placed in the top five in three consecutive tournaments. Piedmont finished fourth at East Metro Saturday in Monroe with six individual wrestlers earning medals including Jamus Wingate, first, 165; Scott Swann, second, 132; Colt Leddon, second, 150; Caleb Benton, third, 144; Austin Anglin, fourth, 113 and Braxton Floyd, fifth, 215.
