IT’S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!

Christmas is less than a week away, and many homes throughout the county are showing their holiday best. These readers shared photos of their homes with The Monticello News, and readers who want to see them in person, as well as others on the way can ride down Forsyth Street in Monticello to see the home of Tricia Armistead (left photo), then ride out in the county to see the home of Joseph Brower at 227 Alcovy Road in Mansfield.

The News welcomes more home photos, and plans to feature some in next week’s paper. The Christmas newspaper will come out on Christmas eve, two days early, because of the Wednesday holiday. Submit photos to advertising@themonticellonews.com. It’s sometimes difficult to get good photos without a tripod, so The News staff has a hint…take them right at dusk, and they tend to be a little easier to get.
