Cases Settled in Superior Court
The December 3 criminal session of Jasper Superior Court was conducted in the Courthouse last week with the following sentences ordered.
Justin Caleb Armour, sentenced to three years with the first day in Jasper County jail for possession of cocaine and driving under the influence. Counts of possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and improper use of turn signal were nolle prossed. Fined $1,500.
Terri Lynn Tyler, sentenced to 60 days in jail for theft by shoplifting. She was credited with time served from August 27 until October 26, 2024.
Rocky Lee Jones, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine and obstruction of an officer. Fined $500.
Alicia Garcia, sentenced to two years of probation for possession of marijuana and possession of drug related objects. Speeding, driving without a license and open container were nolle prossed. She was fined $500.
Anthony Bernard Jackson, sentenced to one year of probation for affray. Fined $400.
Jameelah M. Shabazz, sentenced to one year of probation for failure to carry license and obstruction of an officer. Operating vehicle bearing improper license plate and driving on suspended, canceled, or revoked registration were nolle prossed. Fined $400.
Arlandos Grier, sentenced to one year of probation for disorderly conduct. Fined $400.
Hunter Tuck, sentenced to one year of probation for possession of drug related object and possession of marijuana. Fined $500.
Marian Hadaway, sentenced to one year of probation for possession of drug related object. Fined $500.
Annie Mikaela Duncan, sentenced to one year of probation for possession of drug related objects. Possession of methamphetamine was nolle prossed. Fined $500.
