JV Cougars Fall to Westfield Hornets

Piedmont Academy’s junior varsity boys basketball team had a chance to take the court Tuesday hosting Westfield.

The JV Cougars fell 56-13 and were led by Kooper Pounds who scored a team high seven points. Carson Swofford and Daniel Humber both scored two.

The game was close early with Westfield leading 9-5 after the first quarter and the game tied at 15 at halftime. The Hornets scored 26 points in the third quarter to take control of the contest.

Bryson Dudley and Isaac Lockett both added one point for Piedmont.
