Monticello Hurricanes to Host Playoff Game

On Friday, November 15th, Jasper County High School will host the first round of the GHSA state football championships. The Hurricanes (7-3) will face Ace Academy (6-4) from Macon. Game time is 7:30 PM. Gates will open at 6:15 PM.
This is the 1st home playoff football game in Jasper County since 1992!
Tickets are $10 each per GHSA guidelines for playoff events.
Also, per GHSA Rules:
• All fans, except “babies in arms”, will require a purchased ticket for entry into the game. Season tickets or employee passes are not valid for entry into the playoff game.
• All fans must purchase a ticket through GoFan which can be found HERE. Tickets may also be purchased at the gate with a debit/credit card. Cash will NOT be accepted at the gate.
• Only certified staff members from Jasper County High School will be allowed free admission with proper identification. All other district employees must purchase a ticket.
Also, per district safety protocol, all students from Pre-K through 8th grade must be accompanied by a parent into the stadium or they will not be permitted to enter the gates. All middle school students and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Please wear purple to show our school spirit. School administration has requested all middle and high school students form a student section in the stands near the band as we cheer on our team to victory. Our athletic department and football programs thank everyone for their support and ask that you come out to support our team as they compete for a state championship. As always, GO CANES!!!!!
