The Cougars need a win to have a chance to qualify for the postseason. The top eight teams will qualify based on a computer-generated power ranking.
“This will be a big game for us on Senior Night,” Coach Clint Satterfield said. “We are on the outside looking in now but a big win could get us in the group of eight for the playoffs.”
Athens Christian enters this week’s game at 3-6 overall and 2-4 in region. The Eagles started the season well but have since dropped their last four games including a 38-11 loss to Lakeview last week.
