EARLY VOTING BEGINS

Early voting began briskly Tuesday at the Jasper County Courthouse with many people taking advantage of day one when more than 450 people voted. Along with the presidential choice, there are a few questions down ballot, as well as two constitutional amendments and one referendum.

Early voting continues Monday through Saturday, through October 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday Oct. 28-Friday, Nov. 1, from 9 am. to 5 p.m. on the ground floor of the Courthouse.

Voting will also take place on election day, Tuesday, Nov,. 5, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Courthouse at Martin and Burney precinct on Jackson Lake Road and at Wyatt Precinct on Hwy. 142.
