Register To Vote by Monday

The last day to register to vote in the November 5 general election is next Monday, Oct. 7. Persons who are not registered, or whose registration is questionable, must register by Monday. Anyone who is unsure about their status should contact the Jasper County Registrar’s Office, 706-468-4908, or visit the ground floor of the Courthouse.

Early voting begins October 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the ground floor of the Courthouse.

Absentee ballots will begin being mailed out next Monday, Oct. 7, s well. The last day to request a mail-in ballot is October 2.

Early voting on Saturday will take place October 19 and 26.
