MS Cougars Fall to GWA
While it was a tough outcome on the scoreboard for the Piedmont Academy Middle School football team, the main objective was to keep learning.
Piedmont fell to George Walton Academy 42-6 last week. Jayden Gunn scored the first touchdown of the season for the Cougars on a 30-yard run.
“We did show some improvement on offense,” coach Drew McMillan said.
Defensively, Zane Smith was a standout with five solo tackles at middle linebacker.
“We hope to continue improving this week,” McMillan said.
Piedmont will host Loganville Christian Academy on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 4 p.m.
