Patricia Ann Braswell Standifer

A celebration of life for Apostle Patricia Ann Braswell Standifer was held Saturday, August 31, at Holy Nation Church in Hillsboro. Pastor Edward Ingram was eulogist; Bishop Tony Hall, officiant.

Apostle Patricia Ann Braswell Standifer was born December 18, 1953 to the parentage of the late Jesse James Braswell and Overseer Rosa Mae Tillman Braswell. She was the eighth child and the sixth daughter of 14 children born to this union. Apostle Standifer passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2024.

Affectionately known as “Pat” to family members and friends, she was a product of the Jones County School System having been a member of the Jones County High School Class of 1972. After completion of high school, she became gainfully employed at Monticello Manufacturing Inc., being the top producer in her department for a period of almost 20 years. She later began a career as a Certified 4-H Program Assistant at the Jasper County Extension Service, working for the University of Georgia in the Jasper County School System for 17 years.

In 1989, Apostle Standifer married the love of her life, First Gentleman, Prophet Eddie Standifer. After the death of her mother, Overseer Braswell, Apostle Standifer became the successor of Holy Nation Church and continued her legacy and great body of work. In October 2011, she founded the Rosa Mae Braswell Annex, which stands adjacent to the edifice her mother founded in 1987, alongside the Rosa Mae Braswell Memorial Garden and Cemetery. Like her mother before her, God revealed the Blueprints to her as the Master Builder. She added a much-needed steeple, a beautiful church sign and paved the church parking lot.

On March 29, 2016, she was officially ordained and consecrated as the First Female Bishop of Jasper County. On March 29, 2017, Apostle Standifer received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinity from The Spirit of Truth Institute of Houston, Texas. On September 9, 2023, she received a second Honorary Doctorate Degree from School of the Great Commission Bible College, Atlanta. On March 4, 2023, Patricia Braswell Standifer was consecrated and elevated to the office of Apostle in The Lord’s Church.

Championing a People to Acquire the Keys to The Kingdom, Apostle Standifer continued the work of Jesus Christ as a “Soul Winner” for the Lord. Her life’s mission fulfilled the words spoken by Apostle Peter: Children of God, Ye are a Chosen Generation, A Royal Priesthood, A Holy Nation, A Peculiar People, who shows forth the Praises of Him who hath Called you out of Darkness into His Marvelous Light (I Peter 2:9).

In addition to her parents, Apostle Standifer was preceded in death by her siblings; Albert J. Braswell, Jessie Braswell Alexander, Christine Braswell Lombard, Bernice Braswell Jones, Linda Braswell Jones and Leah Braswell Dumas.
