Anna Rebecca ‘Becky’ Fuller Barge
Anna Rebecca “Becky” Fuller Barge, age 94, of Lizella, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, at The Gardenias: Senior Care Assisted Community Home in Hampton.
Becky Barge was born on April 25, 1931, in Hillsboro, to the late Marlin Raleigh Fuller and Callie D. Whitman Fuller. She married the late Harold Kenneth Barge in 1948. They lived in Decatur, until moving to Lizella, in 1983.
Becky Barge was an active member of the Lawrence Drive Baptist Church in Macon. She cooked Wednesday night meals and helped with charity organizations through the church.
Becky Barge enjoyed sewing, cooking and making flower arrangements. Her favorite color was purple and she was extremely sociable; never meeting a stranger.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Barge Phillips; and sisters and brothers, Jean Yawn, Grady Fuller, Terry Fuller, Theodore Fuller, Franklin Fuller, Millie Fowler, and Charles Fuller.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Paul) Nylander of Norcross, Brenda (Randall) Kenney of Covington and Doris (Jeff) Shelton of Hoschton; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances Trent of Fairburn and Nina Edwards of Sharpsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 p.m., Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Callie Fuller Baptist Church in Monticello.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Callie Fuller Baptist Church. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. Rev. Brad Marchman will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons.
