Doris Arlene Faulkner

Doris Arlene Faulkner, age 93, of Monticello passed away on Friday Aug 2, 2024, at the Marietta Center in Marietta.

She was born on October 14, 1930 to the late Harvey and Edna McElhose, of Wisconsin.

Doris was a 60 plus years resident of Jasper Co. She attended New Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Henry (J.H.) Faulkner of Monticello and daughter, Kay (Carden) Batchelor of Eatonton.

She is survived by her daughters, Dollie (Carden) Bagley of Mount Washington, Ky., Mary Ann (Carden) Brown of Rockmart; sons Earl (Debra) Carden Jr. of Dallas, Ga, and Robert Carden of Monticello.

Also, stepchildren, Nell (Charlie) Faulkner Pate of McCormick. S.C., Lula Faulkner Connolly of Eatonton, and Harold (Birdie) Faulkner of Gordon; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Doris were held Saturday Aug 10, 2024, at Hebron Cemetery in Monticello with Rev. Charlies Roper officiating.
