Deputies Stay Busy
Deputies with the Jasper County Sherif’s Office (JCSO) made nearly 100 traffic stops in the last week, and responded to all types of calls.
In the process, the following people were arrested and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center. Those persons, and their charges, include:
•Michael Dexter Steffey, 41, Suwanee—awaiting PDC
•James Ronnie Sadler, 38, Monticello—probation violation
•Brianna Dominique Curry, 31, Macon—probation violation
•Dylan Grithen Williams, 26, McDonough—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge (two counts)
•Jedric Mateo Williams, 22, Covington— Receipt, Possession or Transport of Firearm by Convicted Felon; Possession of Firearm or Knife during Commission of or Attempt to Commit Felony; Purchase/Possession/Manufacture/Distribution or Sale of Marijuana; Open Container Violation; Willful Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers; Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects; Windshields and Windshield Wipers
•Bradly Wayne Webster, 19, Covington—Furnishing, Purchasing and Possession of Alcoholic Beverages by Person below Legal Age
•Charlie Lee Powell Jr, 48, Gray—entering an auto or other motor vehicle with intent of felony; public indecency; criminal trespass
•Gabriel Dominick Smith, 42, Hillsboro—possession of Methamphetamine
•Anthony Phillip Toskes, 50, Milledgeville— possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance; possession of Methamphetamine; Marijuana/ possess less than an ounce; Suspended Vehicle Registration; DUI – Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol; open container violation
•Roman Avina Vazques, 18, Conyers—open Container Violation; driving without a Valid License; DUI – Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
•Dennis Paul Jones, 40, New York, NY—suspended Vehicle Registration; open container violation; Alteration of License Plates; DUI – Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol; Driving without a Valid License
