Mrs. Beatrice Marks Sanders

A celebration of life for Mrs. Beatrice Marks Sanders, who died June 26, 2024, was held Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Eatonton. Rev. Antonio McGuire, eulogist; Rev. Lewis Parham, pastor.

Mrs. Beatrice Marks Sanders was born August 11, 1949, to the parentage of the late Charlie Marks and Mrs. Dollie Beatrice Marks in Monticello.

Mrs. Beatrice Marks Sanders was married to the late Albert Sanders November 4, 1973. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, as well as three brothers, Willie James Marks, Harry Marks and Sam Marks; and two sisters, Mattie Pearle Smith and Letha Mae Hill.

Mrs. Beatrice Marks Sanders joined Mt. Gilead Baptist Church where she was a faithful user, and a faithful servant; feeding and taking care of the pastor.

Mrs. Beatrice Marks Sanders leaves to cherish one daughter, Bettye Ann Marks, three grandchildren, Katrece Marks, Mrs. Joycelyn (Darnell) Richard and Antonio (Christie) McGuire; an honorary granddaughter, Ashley Adam; nine great-grandchildren, Quindarius Cobb, Nadia Boykin, Ethan Richard, Joisah McGuire, Noah McGuire, Khyndle Isabell, Ryan Simmons, Kayden Cofer and Amira Davis; a brother-in-law, Willie Aruthur Sanders and a sister-in-law, Audrey Denise Norwood. Also a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
