Criminal Court Sentences Listed
Jasper Superior Court conducted a motion day session on June 25 which produced the following sentences during the criminal portion of the docket.
Douglas Parker, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine and driving with expired license. He was fined $1,500.
Samanatha Lee Kidd, remanded to the Jasper County jail suspended upon entry into the state residential substance abuse treatment program for possession of methamphetamine, positive drug test, and failure to pay fines which violated probation conditions on two separate cases.
Fielding James Thompson, sentenced to 180 days in jail for new offense of financial transaction card fraud and failure to complete inpatient treatment program.
Robert Allen Rice, sentenced to 90 days in jail, with credit for time served since June 13, 2024, for positive drug test and failure to make notification of his whereabouts.
Richard Blake Chatham, probation revoked to the jail for violating probation conditions.
A consent order was issued for Travis Vaughn to have the no contact clause of his May 2024 sentence modified to a no violent contact clause involving Sabrina Vaughn.
Bond orders issued include $150,000 for Lagavious King for seven warrants and various drug charges; Jameal Jefferies for $50,000 for 17 warrants and several drug related charges; and David Powell for $20,000 for five warrants and aggravated assault, simple assault, criminal damage to property, false report of a crime, and cruelty to children.
