Arrests Are Made This Week

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office arrested a number of people in the last week for various charges.

Those arrested, and their charges, include:

•Tiffany Michelle Stewart, 36, Mansfield—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge

•Zechariah Joseph Whitby, 25, Monticello—probation revocation/modification

•Ariana Joi Johnson, 17, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked

•Jason Terry Thompson, 39, Monticello—disorderly conduct

•Demetrius Lamond Victor, 39, Covington—housed for Newton County

•Celina Rebekah Stowe, 28, Monticello—DUI/driving under the influence of alcohol

•Demarcus Dewayne Lynwood, 35, Covington—here for court

•Paesha Deshon Brown, 27, Milledgeville—speeding; driving while license suspended or revoked; operation of a vehicle without current plate

•Juhwan Markell Fleming, 30, Decatur—failure to maintain lane; driving without a valid license; Marijuana/possession of less than an ounce.

•Marissa Ann McMurray, 35, Monticello—simple battery

•Jose Jair Alvarez Sanchez, 34, Clovis, NM—no drivers license on person; failure to maintain lane; DUI/driving under the influence of alcohol

•Jatrayvis Jerrod Boyd, 21, Irwinton—driving while license suspended or revoked

•Cindy Karen Smith, 44, Monticello—hold for Newton County
