BREAKING: Currie, Harrell, Murphy Win Election

The results for today’s City of Monticello election have been determined.

Doug Currie, Gail Harrell and Jenny Murphy as winners of the Mayor Pro-Tem, District 1, Post 2 and District 2, Post 2 posts respectively.

Incumbent Doug Currie defeated Terri Saunders 262-197. One unresolved write in made the total voter turnout to be 460 voters.

Gail Harrell defeated incumbent Cynthia Miller 110-54. Two unresolved write-ins made the total voter turnout to be 166 voters.

Jenny Murphy defeated Melissa Watson 181-115 with a total voter turnout of 296 voters. There were no unresolved write-ins.
