Election Day is Today

Today is election day for the City of Monticello.

Three posts are up for grabs. Running for Mayor Pro-Tem are incumbent Doug Currie and Terri Saunders. Running for the council seat of District 1, Post 2 are incumbent Cynthia Miller and former mayor Gail Harrell. Running for the council seat of District 2, Post 2 are incumbent Jenny Murphy and Melissa Watson.

Voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the courthouse.

It is encouraged that if you are able, to cast your vote and make a difference.
