Deer Festival is November 4

The 57th Annual Monticello-Jasper County Deer Festival sponsored by the Monticello – Jasper County Chamber of Commerce (COC) will take place on Saturday, Nov. 4, on the Square in downtown Monticello.

The Deer Festival will kick off with the 26th Annual Deer Dash. Beginning at 7:30 am, a one-mile fun run will be held on Funderburg Drive and at 8 a.m., the 5K run/walk will begin just off the Square on Greene Street and end on Funderburg Drive in front of the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office annex.
