Several Arrested for Local Drug Offenses
A large number of people were booked into the Jasper County Jail in the last week, on a wide assortment of charges. Always at the forefront are drug charges, but many others were brought forth too this week. Those arrested, and their charges, include:

•Kenneth Aaron Christian, 32, Monticello—probation violation
•Javonne Lakesta Waller, 28, Eatonton— Marijuana/Possession of less than an ounce
•Adrian Jamarcus Quenzarn Russel, Jr, 27, Oxford—driving while License Suspended or Revoked, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police Officer, Speeding
•Jacob Tyler Hyde, 19, Covington—Possession of Marijuana/less than an ounce
•Mecca L Benton, 37, Locust Grove—hold for Henry County
•Shantiaives Thaquile Rowe, 30, Monticello—Possession of Marijuana /less than an ounce
•Desiree Marie Williams, 38, Monticello—Failure to Appear for a Fingerprintable Charge, Obstruction of Officers
