Search Warrant Nets Drugs
On Tuesday, July 18, the Jasper County Crime Suppression Unit of the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO), along with a host of other deputies and investigators executed a warrant at 585 North Warren St. in Monticello after an ongoing narcotics investigation.
The search warrant yielded a trafficking amount of suspected ecstasy, a substantial amount of crack and powder cocaine, marijuana, digital scales and packaging materials, along with hundreds of dollars, all suspected to part of an illegal narcotics enterprise.
Ramires Bernard Davis was arrested on the scene and charged with two counts of sale of marijuana, sale of Schedule 1 Controlled Substance, four counts of felony tampering with evidence, two counts of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and trafficking schedule one controlled substance.
