Champs Honored

Teagan Satterfield, Kylee Keck and Marissa Holder were named All-Region and All-State for the 2023 basketball season.

The trio helped the Lady Cougars win the first state championship in program history.

In addition, Luke Welch and Elijah Dominguez were named All-Region for the Piedmont boys. Welch was also named an All-State player.

Welch, a senior, was also selected for the GIAA All-Star basketball games played last weekend at Central Fellowship and Westfield.

Piedmont varsity girls coach Michael Wilson was honored as “GIAA Class AA Coach of the Year” for his work in leading the Lady Cougars to the state title.
