James Brian Jenkins

James Brian Jenkins, age 50, of Monticello, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2023.

Brian Jenkins was born in Decatur, on July 2, 1972, to David and Barbara Jenkins of Stockbridge.

Mr. Jenkins worked as a pipe fitter for Local Union 72 in Atlanta. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, watching his girls play softball, spending time at the lake, and listening to Chris Stapleton.

Including his parents, he is survived by his daughters, Mia Jenkins, and Bailey Jenkins of Monticello; fiancée, Elizabeth Vickers of Monticello; former wife, Edie Jenkins of Monticello; sister, Mandy (David) Callaway of Covington; nephews, Zack Callaway, Branden Callaway, and Cameron Callaway; and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 6, 2023, at 1 p.m., at the chapel of Jordan Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Jordan Funeral Home.
