Court Sentences Are Handed Down
The January 3 Jasper Superior Court criminal session resulted in the following sentences.
Vincent K. Dudley, sentenced to three years with the first 10 days in Jasper County jail for possession of methamphetamine. possession of marijuana, (less than ounce), driving while license suspended, and giving false information to a law enforcement officer. Fined $2,000 and credited with time served since December 2022.
Alexis M. Raynor, sentenced to one year with the first day in jail for driving under the influence. Fined $500 and credited with one day of jail.
Clinton M. Dunn, sentenced to one year of probation for tailgate violation, failure to display license, and improper display of license plates. Fined $500.
Probation revocations include:
Bobby Ray Davis, revoked to 270 days in jail suspended upon sucessful completion of a approved minimum six month long term inpatient treatment program for failure to report to probation officer, failure to complete substance abuse evaluation, failure to pay court fees.
James B. McDonald, probation revoked to 180 days in probation detention center remain in jail until space is available for failure to report new residence and failure to pay court fees.
Gregory Todd Morgan, probation revoked to 180 days in a state probation detention center for a new charge of criminal trespass, failure to report to probation, failure to pay court fees, and failure to complete sex offender treatment.
Deborah Poole, probation revoked to 60 days in jail suspended upon entry and completion of 12 weeks of substance abuse classes, relapse prevention, grief counseling, and drug screening for positive drug test.
Scott Wesley Mayfield, probation revoked to 60 days in jail and credited with time served since December 20 for positive drug test and failure to report to probation office.
