Drugs Are Located During Traffic Stop
Last Saturday, Nov. 19, at approximately 12:47 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Eagle Drive. After a brief investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Luke Christopher Fowler, 25, of Covington was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Other persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:
•Timothy Lynwood Jr., 34, Monticello—probation violation.
•Michael Jamar Ammons, 34, Monticello—criminal trespass/family violence, simple battery/family violence.
•Clint Ledwayne Jackson, 58, Monticello—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge (three counts)
•Daniel Preston Baxter, 31, Monticello—probation violation
•Joesph Samuel Spence, 38, Monticello—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge
•Claude Bernard Willis Jr, 32, Monticello—hold for Newton County
•Jennifer Nicole Calhoun, 36, Milner—possession of Methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Purchase, Possession, Manufacture, Distribution, or Sale of Marijuana, Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects, windshield and Windshield Wipers
•Joshua Adam White, 18, Shady Dale—unauthorized discharge of firearms within 50 yards of a public hwy, disorderly conduct
•Joequarius Deiontaye Dumas, 28, Monticello—probation violation.
•Yesenia La Bra Hernandez, 27, Monticello—driving without a valid license, stop signs and yield signs
•Archangg Deon Joseph, 33, Conyers—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Kyle Blake Puckett, 27, McDonough—possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance, failure to maintain lane.
•Shane Dillon Griffith, 30, Covington—possession and use of drug related objects, probation violation, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
•Mario Perez Bautista, 23, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked, open container of alcohol, dui/driving under the influence of alcohol.
•William Andrew Story, 37, Barnesville—possession of methamphetamine.
•David Blake Ramey Jr., 31, Conyers—driving without a valid license.
•Eurskin Levon Thomas, 37, Conyers—terroristic threats and acts.
