Mailboxes Destroyed
Some 13 residences along Concord Road and Marben Farms Road in north Jasper County had their mailboxes damaged during the night of Saturday October 1.
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) is investigating these incidents and encourages anyone with information into this incident to call 706-468-4912 or the anonymous TIPS line at 706-468-JCSO.
Deputies spent some time Sunday investigating those instances, while continuing to patrol and hear complaints throughout the county.
Two persons in the last week were arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
Cody Allen Taylor, 27, of Monticello was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession and use of drug related objects, failure to maintain lane, willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.
Tammy Jo Turner, 52, of Flovilla was also charged with possession of methamphetamine, DUI/driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to maintain lane, driving unsafe or improperly equipped vehicle/brake light.
Others booked into the Jasper County Jail in the last week, and their charges, include:
•Daniel Steven Wilson, 51, Covington—probation violation
•Herbert Charles Walker, 21, Covington—failure to maintain lane, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
•Tiffany Rae Beam, 31, Mansfield—obstruction of law enforcement officer, pedestrian under the influence, drug related objects.
•Adam Gregory Schliekelman, 39, Warner Robins—drugs not in original container, DUI/ driving under the influence of alcohol
•Chance Michael Malcom, 29, Madison—fleeing or attempting to elude police officer, stop sign and yield signs, failure to maintain lane, headlights, speeding, reckless driving
•Adam David Durden, 43, Loganville—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge (three counts)
•Javier Travis Bolston, 24, Milledgeville—driving while license suspended or revoked
•Artie Catherine Webster, 62, Jennings, Fl—hold for Henry County
•Justin Blake Edwards, 20, Monticello—criminal damage to property – 2nd degree, terroristic Threats and acts, simple battery – family violence
•Benjamin Todd Hynum, 39, Newborn—Probation Violation (two counts), surety bonds and real property bonds as security.
•Xavier Edwin Coissiere, 22, Covington—speeding, possession of a schedule I controlled substance
