Superior Court Sentences
The Jasper Superior Court criminal session docket for September 13 produced the following sentences.
Oliver Cotton, sentenced to four years with the first 28 days in Jasper County jail for fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, obstruction of an officer, and driving under the influence. Fined $1,600 and credited with time served.
Amy M. Herring, sentenced to three years of probatioon for possession of methamphetamine and driving while license suspended. Fined $1,000 and credited with time served.
Allison L. Carty, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine. Fined $1,500.
Probation revocations included:
Owen Daly, probation revoked to 270 days in jail and suspended upon approval of new address by Department of Community Supervision for failed to provide address.
Charles Massey, probation revoked to 36 days in jail for failure to adhere to probation conditions.
Brandon R. Lind, probation revoked to one month in jail, must enroll in and complete substance abuse program, and pay court fines for a positive drug test.
Tawanna L. Lane, probation revoked to 30 days in jail for new offense and drug test.
