‘Cane Athletic Sponsorships Are Available

The Jasper County Charter System has devised, and is now offering a system athletic sponsorship plan.

Items offered in return for sponsorship include yearly signage at the Hurricane football field, and on the scoreboard, in the Jasper County High School gymnasium, at the Hurricane softball/baseball complex, as well as the middle school gym, softball and baseball fields.

Also offered is advertising on the Hurricane Football Field Jumbotron in scoreboard, as well as the tennis courts. Persons or businesses may choose to have banners on the tennis courts as well. Yearly signage at any one venue is available. Name on a “supporter” sign at each athletic facility costs is another option. Game night sponsors receive stand-alone advertising announcements and special athletic event marketing opportunities at a JCHS home varsity football game or event of sponsor’s choice. Sponsors ma also “buy the ball” for a game.

The purple package at $4,500 offers all permanent and seasonal signage opportunities listed. It offers in game recognition and sponsor gift. Stand alone advertisements will be produced and presented at least twice at each athletic event. It offers season tickets to all home regular season high school and middle school games.

The Hurricane package, at $5,000 for those with deep pockets, offers all of the items listed. The silver package coming in at $2,500 offers yearly signage, a sponsor gift, two passes to all home regular season high school and middle school games. Also, it offers a link to the sponsor’s website from the county’s athletic website.

The supporter package at $1,000 offers signage in two locations, sponsor gift, supporters name announced at all venues, tickets to games, and a link to the sponsor’s website.

Hurricane and Purple sponsors also receive t-shirts.

Monticello athletics include fall sports of spirit cheerleading boys and girls cross country, football—varsity, junior varsity and middle school, and those phases of girls’ fast-pitch softball.

Winter sports include girls and boys basketball and wrestling.

Spring sports include baseball, golf, tennis, track and field, and soccer.
