Drugs Are Found after Traffic Stop

William Anthony Fowler, 36, of Sparta has been charged with crossing guard lines with weapons/drugs/intoxicants, tampering with evidence, possession of methamphetamine (two counts), trafficking in cocaine/marijuana/meth or illegal drugs, speeding, failure to maintain lane, and possession of marijuana – less than an ounce after a traffic stop early last Thursday morning.

The methamphetamine Mr. Fowler allegedly had was found in his buttocks after he was taken to the jail.

Other persons booked into the Jasper County Detention Center in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Joseph Gary Roebuck, 33, Eatonton—possession of methamphetamine, speeding, driving while license suspended or revoked, failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge (three counts)

•Jeovan Jesus Hernandez, 33, Monticello—theft by taking, burglary – 2nd degree

•Sonya Bonner, 36, Monticello—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge

•Owen Roy Daley Jr, 26, Clarkston—probation violation

•Danny Lee Criswell, 22, Mansfield—probation violation

•Anthony Eugene Parker, 37, Monticello—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge

•Craig Dawayne Snyder, 47, homeless—possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana – less than an ounce, no tag or expired tag, failure to use signal

•Jennifer Jeanette Reynolds, 44, Covington—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge

•Chastity Hope Walden, 38, Monroe: Battery – Family Violence (1st Offense)

•Rashan Beverly, 48, Union City—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge

•Michelle Lynn Hart, 53, Monticello—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge (two counts)

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) also made more than 130 traffic stops during the week, served civil papers to 35 individuals, conducted 29 premises check, and responded to numerous calls for service for all kinds of concerns.
