Deputies Arrest Several

Jasper County deputies stayed busy over the last week, making nearly 100 traffic stops, and responding to many calls of various types.

For the long Memorial Day weekend, there were few accidents, but there were numerous alarm calls, some caused by the weather.

Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Kelby Jamire Williams, 20, Shady Dale—armed robbery.

•Wilburn Lee Knight, 47, Monticello—possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance; Probation Violation, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Drugs not in Original Container (seven counts), Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects, Marijuana-Possession less an ounce.

•Jeremy Adam Hulsey, 41, Monticello—battery/ family violence (first Offense).

•Matthew Steven Atkins, 38, Eatonton—DUI – driving under the influence of drugs, drugs not in original container.

•Moki Nakoma Elsasser, 44, Hillsboro—aggravated assault, Cruelty to Children – 3rd Degree (3 Counts).

•Billie Jo Owenby, 44, Monticello—battery.

•Camber Nicole White, 35, Monticello—aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, pointing gun/pistol at another, criminal trespass.

•Jessie James Gude, Jr, 55; Monticello—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge, obstruction or hindering persons making emergency telephone call, criminal trespass/family violence.

•Delvin Icilious White, 40, Monticello—possession of firearm by a convicted felon, reckless conduct.

•Jacob Chase Norton, 31, Molena—operation of watercraft under the influence of alcohol, drugs or toxicants, failure to obey regulatory markers, endangering a child while operating a vessel under the influence.

•Timothy Arthur Holbert, Jr, 36, Monticello—obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

•Michael Shane Dean, 42, Talking Rock—bond on original charges.
