Lesley ‘Les’ Guy Hampton

Lesley “Les” Guy Hampton passed away peacefully at his home in Forsyth, on March 19, 2022.

Les was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Joanna Gaudi and his sister, Valerie Ann Hampton Berty.

He is survived by his father Wesley Guy Hampton of Jeannette, Pa.; brother, Michael John Hampton; son, Steven Guy Hampton of Jeannette, Pa.; daughter, Laura Winona Hampton of Monticello; two grandsons, Gunnar David Hampton and Donovan Wesley Hampton; five nephews, one niece and various cousins.

Les was born on February 2, 1961 in Jeannette, Pa. He attended Penn Trafford High School and was a member of the wrestling team and football team. Les graduated from Triangle Tech. He was a Geographic Information Professional and was an active member of The Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) for many years.

Les loved music, sports, fishing and hunting with his father at their hunting camp. He was a great gardener finding so much joy and pride in building and tending to his garden.

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned; instead, the family requests that his friends and loved ones take some time enjoying the outdoors in some fashion as Les did.
