Arrests Are Reported
Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office are investigating damage to property at A-1 Foods on Forsyth Street. Last Monday, Jan. 3, at nearly 11 p.m., someone threw a beer bottle and a car jack against the door, breaking the glass. However, no one made entry.
Deputies also investigated other thefts and incidents in the last week.
Persons arrested, and their charges, include:
•Kenneth Aaron Christian, 30, Monticello—probation violation.
•Kenneth Dernal Standifer, 64, Monticello—probation violation.
•Dustin Travis Jeffrey, 27, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Matthew Allen Wade, 38, Bonaire—theft by taking.
•Anthony Roy Wilson, 27, Loganville—aggravated stalking and possession of methamphetamine.
•Alexandria Lynn Wright, 25, Loganville—possession of methamphetamine.
•James Brayon Smith, 54, Monroe—windshield violation, vision (glazed material) violation and possession of methamphetamine.
•Horace Dale Harvard, 38, Mansfield—open container, failure to maintain lane and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Joshua Vernon Christian, 25, Monticello—harassing phone calls and prohibition of nude or sexually explicit electronic transmissions.
