Persons Are Arrested During Week
Several persons were arrested in Jasper County over the past week. They include:
•Charles Anthony Turner, 63, Macon—theft by taking motor vehicle.
•Jeffry Lynn Peebles, 53, Monticello—warrant in Butts Co.
•Christopher Lee Hughes, 42, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, suspended registration, drug related objects and suspended, cancelled or revoked vehicle registration.
•Ayden Calder Moore, 19, Monticello—terroristic threats and acts (three counts), aggravated assault (two counts), open container, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and criminal trespass.
•David Wayne Corley, 18, Jenkinsburg—battery, disorderly conduct and terroristic threats.
•Shikeem Sturdivant, 23, Jackson—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Hakeel Devonte Norwood, 28, Monticello—probation violation (two counts).
•Brandon Shane Biddy, 25, Monticello—aggravated assault, criminal trespass, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, battery and Jasper County Superior Court failure to appear bench warrant.
•Labarron Cosby Farrar, 44, Monticello—battery.
•Ian Scott Bowles, 24, Shady Dale—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Derrick Eugene West, 32, Monticello—fleeing/attempting to elude police officer, improper passing, speeding, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Michael Bernard Grier, 33, Covington—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Jasper Corneilus Murray, 26, Lawrence-ville—obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
