Jamison Ashley Collier

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Jamison Ashley Collier of Snellville.

Jamie passed away on November 19 at his home at the age of 45. He was born August 19, 1976 in Lawrenceville to Johnnie and the late Joe Collier.

Jamie grew up as a member of Snellville United Methodist Church. He was a 1994 graduate of South Gwinnett High School and a graduate of Georgia College and State University.

Jamie moved to Monticello in the mid 90’s and made it his home. Jamie’s most important role in life was to be an amazing dad to his sons John Vinson and Jarrett. They were the loves of his life and his reason for living. His love for them was insurmountable.

Jamie leaves behind his sons, John Vinson and Jarrett of Madison, his beloved mother, Johnnie Collier of Snellville, sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Mike Jorns of Monticello, nephew Wyatt Currie and niece Morgan Currie of Monticello and niece Shelby Jorns of Cumming. He was preceded in death by his father Joe Collier of Snellville.

Jamie was a gentle soul with a giving heart. He will be missed by his family and friends.
