Burglaries down, Vandalism up
Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office reportedly are only investigating one burglary this week…that of a trailer full of tin from an address on Hwy. 142.
But, they are busy trying to investigate two cases of theft by deception and an identity fraud…something they seem to have to investigate every week.
In addition, someone or several someones again this week knocked mailboxes as well as street signs in the county.
