Officers

Kendra Garza (bottom photo, right) was sworn in as Commander of American Legion Post 110 at the Legion’s regular meeting last Thursday. Ms. Garza took her oath from former Commander Otis Clark. Mr. Clark was the first black commander of the local Legion and Commander Garza is the first female commander. Other officers were also installed at Thursday’s meeting. They include (top photo, not in order)—Senior Vice Commander Billy Johnson, Junior Vice Commanders Fred Paul, Sandra Shockley, and David Young, Adjutant Pat Tria, Finance Officer Skip Davis, Chaplain Walter Smith, Service Officer Skip Nowetner, Historian Sydney Jackson, Public Relations Nancy Stafford, Lawyer Dan Roberts, and Sergeant at Arms Otis Clark.
