Deputies Recover Stolen Items
Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) have solved several burglaries in the last week. A handgun that was reported missing was found pawned at an area pawn shop, and a vehicle reportedly stolen had been towed to a local car lot.
But there was another stolen firearm not yet recovered, and another stolen vehicle not yet located. In addition, one resident reported her driver’s license was stolen out of her billfold at her home.
Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:
Castillo Rosalia Linet Ramirez, 36, Monticello: driving without a valid license.
•Michael Joseph Bulson, 45, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Steven Scott Ross, 37, Covington—theft by taking.
•Tina Inez Wells, 42, Norcross—hold for warrant in Rockdale Co.
•Rocky Brandon Hammonds, 35, homeless—hold for warrant in Walton Co.
•Marc Tyler Rommelman, 31, Newnan—tail light violation, defective windshield or windshield wipers, possession of cocaine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
•Brittany Leigh Baker, 35, Mansfield—Jasper County Superior Court failure to appear bench warrant.
•Bobby Chad Evans, 38, Monticello: Jasper County Probate Court failure to appear bench warrant.
