Five Are Sentenced In Superior Court
Judge William Prior, Jr. presided over the May 25 Jasper Superior Court calendar which resulted in the following sentences.
•Otis A. Alexander, sentenced to five years with the first year to be served in confinement for four counts of obstruction of an officer, two counts of terroristic threats, and two counts of criminal trespass. Fined $1,000.
•Jonathan Griffin, sentenced to five years of probation for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Five other charges were nolle prossed.
•Martha Skinner, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of a schedule II controlled substance. Fined $1,000.
•Patrick Latibeaudiere, sentenced to two years of probation for two counts of disorderly conduct as three counts of aggravated assault were nolle prossed. Fined $500.
Timothy Holbert, Jr. had his probation revoked to the state penal system which was suspended upon entry into and completion of an approved long term in-patient substance abuse program. He tested positive for drugs and failed to maintain curfew.
