Cerfernnio Brown

A celebration of life for Cerfernnio Timmy “Tim” Brown, who died May 14, was held Saturday, may 22 at St. James A.M.E. Church in Monticello. Rev. Paul Watts officiated; Rev. Reginald Jacobs, Sr., is pastor. Burial was in New Community Cemetery in Adgateville.

Mr. Brown was born September 14, 1979 to Jacqulin Allison and the late Timmy Brown. Tim was a resident of Covington. He went to Jasper County High School and graduated with the class of 1999. He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age.

Tim had strong faith and trusted God throughout his life. He walked in confidence and he knew who Christ was. Tim spent many years working in the manufacturing business. He never met a stranger. Tim loved spending time and making memories with his children; they were all he talked about. As a teenager, he had a love for cars and fixing them up; he carried that over into adulthood. Tim loved his family and friends.

Tim’s mission here on earth was completed May 14, 2021, when God sent his angels for him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. We all loved him, but God loved him best. Take your rest, you are in God’s care; you are free from it all.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Timmy Brown, and grandmother, Estella Lawrence.

Tim’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his mother, Jackie Lawrence, two sons, Tristan Brown of Covington and Demari Brown of Atlanta; a daughter, Treazure Griffin of Covington; girlfriend, Takesha Griffin; Godson, Decarlos O’neal; two sisters, Antoinette Watts (Donald) of Milner, and Monica Allison (Walter) of Barnesville; brothers, Zack Brown (Meikle) of McDonough, Mikhail Allison and Ty’ree Allison, both of Monticello.

Also, nieces, Zy’niah Watts, Aza’cari Watts, Antonia’ Watts, Jamicah Brown and McKenzie Allison; nephews, Donald Watts, Jakobe Allison, and Meshawn Brown; grandfahter, James Lawrence; uncles, Stanley Lawrency (Marcenia) and Willie Lawrence. Also, a host of cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
