Sudye Dean Goolsby Hammons

Sudye Dean Goolsby Hammons, 57, of Kansas City, Mo. passed away May 7, 2021.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Sunshine United Methodist Church with the Reverend Jason Dillard officiating.

Sudye is survived by her son, Aaron Hammons; father, Bennie Goolsby, Sr.; one grandson, Ryker Hammons; sister, Brenda Chapman; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Madelyn Goolsby; son, Warren Hammons; two brothers, Bennie F. Goolsby, Jr., and Michael Goolsby.

Sudye was born in Jonesboro, Ark. She attended East Side High School in Taylors, S.C. and Greenville Technical College in Greenville, S.C. She was a faithful member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Taylors, S.C.

Sudye was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
