Larry Brown

A celebration of life for Larry Brown, who died March 31, was held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, 100 Martin Lane in Shady Dale. Rev. Jerry Williams officiated.

Larry Brown was born on January 17, 1960 to James Jackson and the late Alberta Brown.

Larry graduated Jasper County High School and then started work at Jasper Memorial Hospital. Larry was such a free spirit. He loved plants, his prize aquarium and his beloved Chihuahua, Mr. Brown. After the death of his mother, he moved to the Macon area where he lived until his passing on April 1, 2021.

Larry leaves to cherish his memories his father and stepmother Mr. and Mrs. James and Annie L. Jackson; four sisters, Barbara (Michael) Jones of Covington, Gloria (Michael) Smith of Newborn, Patricia (Marion) Freeman, and Mary (Gregory) Reed, both of Oxford; a brother, Stanley (Urshala) Robinson of Conyers.

He also leaves his aunts: Annie Lee Thomas of Covington, Annie F. Jackson and Francis Jackson, both of Monticello; uncle, Johnny Jackson of Monticello, and a very special cousin, Larry Brannon of Monticello, along with a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
