Several Are Arrested This Week
Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office have investigated several incidents in the lake area over the last week, with several burglaries reported.
A car reported stolen was later returned, and tools were taken from an individual last year who at the time did not want to press charges has changed his mind.
Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:
•Stephen Paul Robertson, 64, Hampton—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and open container.
•Alexander Bernard Hall, 29, Covington—laying drag (two counts), reckless driving (two counts), vandalism to a place of worship, criminal damage to property 2nd degree (two counts), interference with government property and criminal trespass.
•Malik E. Cole, 25, Winder—criminal damage to property 2nd degree, fleeing/attempting to elude police officer, theft by receiving stolen property (two counts) and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
•Candy Yvonne Cleveland, 50, Monticello—probation violation.
•Bobby Chad Evans, 38, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Maurice Antonio Ingram, 29, Madison—simple battery (two counts) and obstruction of a law enforcement officer (two counts).
•Mario Perez Bautista, 21, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Richard Duane Thompson, Jr., 34, Covington—possession of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
•Douglas Mark Parker, 34, Covington—possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, and expired license.
•Seth Thomas Harvey, 27, Mansfield—failure to maintain lane, speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Bobby Lorenzo Copeland, 47, Eatonton—probation violation.
•Shannon Marie Moore, 42, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Christopher Lee Hughes, 41, Monticello—hold for warrant in Douglas Co.
•Curtis Lee Dubose, 43, Jonesboro—probation violation.
•Kassidy Allison Stanley, 21, Conyers—possession of Schedule I controlled substance and operation of vehicle without current plate.
•James Anthony Cates, 47, Monticello—probation violation, tag light requirement, possession of methamphetamine, and driving while license suspended or revoked.
