Deputies Investigate Burglaries

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office are investigating several thefts that occurred in the last week.

On Monday, deputies were called to Tamarack Drive where there was a report of theft by receiving stolen property.

Sometime between Saturday and Monday, someone broke into an address on Forsyth Street, taking cash. A refrigerator was reportedly taken from an address on Rock Eagle Road, and trail cameras were taken from an address on Pitts Chapel Road.

Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Destin Anthony Lee Breaux, 26, Monticello—cruelty to children 3rd degree and simple battery.

•Amber Deanne Strickland, 30, Jackson—probation violation.

•Candy Yvonee Cleveland, 50, Monticello—sale of methamphetamine.

•Jolene Dae Wilson, 57, Newborn—probation violation.

•Labarron Cosby Farrar, 43, Monticello—simple battery.

•Warren Dwight Constantine, 47, Covington—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Timothy Lee Maynard, 26, Jackson—violation of a civil contempt order.

•Kiarra Marie Ross, 19, Conyers—obstruction of a law enforcement officer, simple battery, giving false name, address or birthdate to law enforce and criminal trespass.
