G. Anglin’s Tiebreaker Makes the Difference
In another fairly easy week for the football contest, five people correctly guessed the winners of 12 of the 13 games listed, with the two most troublesome games being the Georgia/Florida match-up and the Clemson/Notre Dame match-up.
Gary Anglin was the winner with a tie-breaker guess of 61 for the Georgia/Florida game which Georgia lost 44-28. For his effort, Mr. Anglin received a $25 prize from Rob Brown at Dairy Queen, sponsor of the week.
Mr. Anglin said he’s been playing forever, and it was bound to happen eventually.
Matt Tumlin, Hattie McMurry, Randy Patterson and Tommy Davis also correctly guessed the winners of 12 games listed, but were further off on the tie-breaker.
In addition, a slew of other players got 10 or 11 right to have their names added to the Grand Prize Honor Roll. A couple people made the honor roll for the first time this week, and others added to their chances.
This week offers another chance for players to have their names added to the Grand Prize Honor Roll or actually be the winner, collecting a $25 prize from MD HVAC.
